Install it.It runs before you buy.

No email, no account, no card. Free mode is the whole app on two channels and it doesn't run out. If you've already bought a licence, you'll type the address you paid with once inside — there's no key to find.

Your computer will ask you something the first time. These builds aren't code-signed yet, so macOS and Windows both flag an app they haven't seen before. It's about ten seconds either way, and the steps are below, with a picture of exactly what you'll see. Signed builds are coming — they'll arrive as a free update and this step will disappear.

Installing

Ten seconds, once.

macOS Ventura and later

  1. Open the .dmg and drag Producer Command Center into Applications.
  2. Open it. macOS will say it can't check the app for malicious software. Click Done.
  3. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway next to the message about Producer Command Center. Confirm, and it opens.

Right-clicking and choosing Open used to work. It doesn't on current macOS — the Privacy & Security route above is the one that does.

Windows 10 and 11

  1. Run the .exe installer you downloaded.
  2. A blue Windows protected your PC box appears. Click More info — the small link, easy to miss.
  3. Click Run anyway, and the installer carries on as normal.

SmartScreen shows this for any installer it hasn't seen enough times yet. It stops once enough people have installed, and stops immediately once the build is signed.

Stuck? Write to me and I'll walk you through it — or if you've bought and simply don't want to bother, ask for the refund and it's done, no questions.

Already bought it?

There's no licence key.

Open the app, go to Settings, and type the email address you paid with. You'll get a six-digit code by email — type that, and it's activated. Nothing to copy out of a receipt, nothing to lose. The same address works on your other computer, and it survives a reinstall.

Once it's activated it keeps working offline for a month at a time. It doesn't need to be online to run.
